Doing mitts or fingerless gloves for my Hufflepuff-loving friend. She does not like mittens, but she could use a nice pair of hand warmers that does not hinder typing on a keyboard.
I modified the pattern - I moved both the badger and the H slightly lower and cleaned up a bit around them, so that they fit in nicely.
