Notes

I liked the first one so much that I decided I wanted another. This yarn blocks beautifully!

Tips:

  • For quadrant D, I transferred all the stitches to the larger needed as directed and then I got a second needle, same size, to use for knitting back and forth. This is easier than using just one needle.
  • On this one, I got slightly off on the number of increases in one of the sections, but I just continued with it, and was able to work out the divider lines without any real trouble. It’s clearer, just doing it. My intersection of the divider lines may not be perfect but it’s still beautiful and no one is going to be know. This is just a case of ‘forge ahead’ and you’ll be able to make it work out better than you think. Don’t get hung up with an off stitch number if you are relatively close.

Note:
- I may have accidentally reverted back to a pre-publish version of the pattern as my D quadrant (solid red) got so long compared to the published version. It wears as beautifully as the first one I did and friends really, really like this bold design and patterning of colors.
