My first oversize top-down pullover with round yoke. I was deliberating whether I should knit raglan first, but then I realized that raglan lines will distort the stripes - and I wanted the pullover to “flow down” from the shoulders.
Double collar
Cast on 100 stitches with waste yarn, neck height is 5 cm (17 rows).
Knit 5 cm
K2tog, yo the whole row
Knit 5 cm
Bend with the wrong side inside, rib the cast on row, knit stitches of the first and the last rows together.
Calculations
White part: 22 rows front, 31 row back
First row: 100 stitches, last row: 221 stitch
Pink part: 49 rows front, 52 rows back
Last row: 330 stitches
Width of the pullover after the last row of this part - 58.5 cm
Light gray part: 51 row front and back, no short rows, no increases any more.
Separate sleeves after row 32, add 12 underarm stitches for each sleeve.
The yarn is simply gorgeous, 5 stars is way too little for it. No bias and heavenly soft.
