I had several mods to this pattern, including adding a garter stitch boarder, but I did stick with the provisional cast on and worked in the flat (b/c I like the directions of the cables). It took much longer than I anticipated because of the modifications, but was worth it.

The yarn feels like heaven, but both of my skeins had straw fibers in some places that I hat to pick out. Also, it smelled REALLY BAD after blocking. Took quite a bit of time and febreze to make it wearable.
