Notes

I received my Royal ball winder in the mail and started making Magic balls as suggested by my friend Candy. My husband thought they looked like fun to make so he made me, at last count, 75 of these…hehehe I’m on magic ball afghan 3 and 4 now. These are fun to make and instructions to make your own are on my blog…
They remind me of sushi. A friend of mine thinks they look like Salt water taffy.

Pattern:
With one magic ball and a skein of solid color
held together make a Chain 104 with large L, M or N crochet hook.
Single crochet in second chain and in each chain
across.
Chain 2 turn Double crochet across row chain1 turn,
Single crochet across row repeat this
until afghan is as long as you want it.

The 5th picture down is my latest completed afghan…the one below that I’m working on using two magic ball instead of one magic ball and one solid color. I liked the way it turned out.

(Sadly I say…My friend Candy passed in Dec. 2012 of ALS. I will miss her)
