I was given someone’s favorite colors and asked to just create a blanket….
I first started a ripple type blanket and frogged that…then started over and tried different stitches and frogged that…finally put it down went on vacation and picked it back up again and started doing random stripes…that worked so I continued on. The entire blanket is done in single crochet with an ‘I’ hook.

I made both ends the same series of stripes and it sort of evened out everything. I really like how it turned out. My friend was very pleased and can’t wait to give the blanket to her friend.

for the edge…I made chain 3, 3 dc all in the same stitch…then skipped 3 spaces and continued all around the blanket. They look like little arrowheads and really make this blanket. I only took one picture of the blanket before giving it to my friend…but it you look closely you can see the edges.
