I wove this before (see Abalone Shimmer in projects) and placed it for sale at my Etsy shop and later at bedtime I thought “I’ll take it out in the morning” and of course (don’t get ahead of me here… ) … it was sold and I found a message from another customer who was as shocked as I was it was gone so fast.

I could reproduce the warp as I have all the tencel colours… but it was the weft yarn I had an issue with. All I had was a tiny little ball of silk I bought way back in 2014.

Susan at Treenway Silks was wonderful in helping me to find just the right colour…. spiced cognac.

So my customer got her scarf….. and I later wove up mine and these pictures are of the one I’m keeping.
