This shawl and a second ‘warp mate’ were to be the last projects to be woven on my Spring loom prior to the loom being sold to a friend.
10/2 tencel warp, an 8 shaft huck lace pattern that my notes say FB so I’m not sure if that is the weaver’s initials or Facebook
I started and ended with a pretty arrangement of huck lace rows to create a border effect.
The warp was a very soft ivory dandelion fiber yarn that I bought from Yarn Italy on Etsy. They carry unusual and interesting new yarns.
Finished dimensions are 21 1/2 inches wide by 84 inches in length.
I’d like to add that is difficult to photograph “white on white” so I hope you can see the pattern okay!
It was time to move my loom on due to health issues but there are days when I wish I had her back ! sigh
