This is from “Janna Weaves” by Janna van Ledden-Valk, page 122, 16 shaft Butterflies
The warp is 8/2 tencel in three solid colours (red purple, iris & dark teal) and one scarf has a gold 20/2 silk weft from Treenway Silks, and the second is tencel in ‘salmon’. Its warp faced dominate on one side and weft the other, but it produces a lovely contrast and you still get a ghost pattern.

Every other thread is on shafts 1 and 2 so I had to move heddles…. and any project wider would require a bundle or two of new heddles!

I couldn’t just weave it one colour warp and another weft… I had to try something to put my spin on it (of course)
