Notes

I bought a 4.5 yard painted warp from Etsy’s CarrParkArtisans and wove two shorter length scarves. I added borders on the edges and the sett was 24 epi. I chose an 8 shaft twill progression draft from Handweaving.net. Some how the tie up was done so I was looking at the ‘back side’ or darker side of the warp, but I could see the glorious colours on the underside !

First scarf (shown here) went very well and is 60” in length and 8 inches wide. Second scarf…. not so much. Once off the loom and turned over, I found THREE treadling errors and it was too short (50”)

So I ordered some blank insert cards and made my own cards with the second scarf (or very long sample blush)

Seemed like a good idea since its too big to throw away, and too narrow to do anything with…. so lemonade from lemons! lemon
