I’ve been wanting to try a project to tear sheets into strips to make rugs, etc. This caught my eye, instead. I hope to have it done for a gift this Saturday…we shall see. I have mis-matched sheets from 1 year of dorm life many years ago. Why do I still have them? I guess for things like this! This just made me realize that this sheet is just over 20 years old…crazy

Worked on it a bit Thursday evening, then Friday night I let everyone else go to bed and I was able to hammer this out while watching Die Hard. Haven’t been able to catch that one in a long time with little ones around! finished at 2am this morning and slept wonderfully! With the sheet strips, the bottom was a little over 9in across. I forgot to measure how tall it ended up being. Yippee-ki-ya…..
