Woohoo! My three-year project is done! I’m not a fan of piecing together, so I didn’t rush myself. I made the small since I’m short, and the ease turned out OK with the sz 7 needles.

Slight mod on the back neck finish: I wanted a rounder neckline in back, so I only p/u 40 stitches. Then on the first row of ribbing I decreased one stitch evenly across the back. With 38 stitches it pulls together better across my shoulders. And I decided I wanted purl to be edges so it would flow better connecting slightly to the front neckline. I love this! Wonderful pattern!!

3/6/13 Swatched last night, checked it this morning. Used size 7 and swatch is a bit too big. 6’s are finishing another top right now, so next swatch will probably have to wait till the weekend.

3/9/13 looks like size 6 needles are my size.

4/13/13 Hank one done. It got me through row 27 just before last pattern repeat. I forgot to yo several times & had to go back a couple of rows here & there. It’s a nice easy pattern, I just have to pay a little more attention than I thought I would.

7/21/13 Back complete! I can’t believe I started this so long ago! I really like how this yarn is working up. It’s splitty, but isn’t causing problems.

Finished the front, but haven’t blocked yet. I think I’ll block sleeves & front at the same time. Everything on hold right now while I watch the KC ROYALS in the World Series!

Happy Earth Day! Haven’t touched this project since the WS! Guess I just need baseball on to get in a good groove. Running both sleeves at the same time so I don’t leave myself dangling.

Half way through sleeve cap shaping. It’s Memorial Day weekend, and I hope to finish tomorrow.

Finally getting around to blocking the front. Sleeves next then hope to get it together asap.
