Training
Swatched for gauge, to test colors, and to check tubular cast on for ribbing.

Mods
Using tubular cast-on for all pieces.

Planning to add 3” to body length and 2.5” to sleeves. Will recheck along the way.

Doing ribbing in size 4 needles (at least for sleeves). Will cast on extra stitches for body ribbing.

Doing my own math for custom sizing of the body to meet my gauge and measurements.

Day 1
Mass cast on. Made it through about 7” of the first sleeve.

Day 2
Finished off 18” of sleeve.

Day 3
Completed first sleeve. Blocking to check gauge. After looking at others’projects, I am worried about the body sizing coming out too small even at gauge. Starting second sleeve.

Day 4
Knit 5” of second sleeve.

Day 5
Finished 9.5” of second sleeve. Unpinned first sleeve from test block…aaaand it looks like the body is going to involve a lot of my own math. Glad I’m doing this as a part of the Ravellenics, or else I would be procrastinating for fear of sizing problems. No way forward except knitting though!

Day 6
Finished 12” of sleeve. Did a bunch of math, and with crossed fingers, have cast on the body (220 sts).

Day 7
Finished 16 rows of ribbing for body. Planning to decrease to 188 sts for stockinette.

Day 8
Completed 13.5” of sleeve. Decreased for stockinette portion of body.

Day 9
Got to waist decreases on body. Need to try it on and update some math. Have about 20 rows left of last sleeve.

Day 10
Finished the decreases and got partway through the straight portion of waist. Hopefully those decreases aren’t too much over too short a space.

Day 11
Straight portion of waist finished.

Day 12
Bust increases. (Largest point of bust needs to be ~6.5” from marker.)

Day 13
Finished second sleeve.

Day 14
Sick. Managed a few inches more of the body before crashing early for the night.

Day 15
Knit a lot to try to make up ground. Joined the body and sleeves.

Day 16
Made it through half of the yoke rows, despite spending a lot of fine fixing errors. Back on track and hopefully able to finish tomorrow.

Day 17
I did it! Finished knitting at 9pm est and got it down blocking at 9:30.
