Bcecause the yarns are hand-dyed and have some variation in color, I’m alternating my two skeins of yarn along the start of the RS edge.

Modifications

• Used a thicker yarn but keeping the needles the stated size in the pattern.
• On the patterned portion, I did double yarn-overs to open up the lace.
• I used stockinette for the YO areas to add more interest and allow the pattern to come through more.
• Added length to the penultimate garter section, the final patterned set of yarn overs, and the final garter section to use as much of my yarn as possible. My skeins must have been a bit light, because I was left with only 5g.
• Stretchy crochet bind off.
• Picoted crochet border: For eyelet row, (sc, ch4, sc in 2nd sc BO st from hook) across. Turn. For picots, (sc in ch loop, ch3, sl st in first ch st, sc in loop) across
