I made the tail as a dress with the feet open so it is easy to put on and remove. The “fin” part of the dress drapes so it looks like its closed. The wig was made using a crocheted hat as the base and tediously tying in two 19” lengths of yarn folded over per stitch in the hat laid out in a way that real hair falls. I skipped every other row to decrease bulk and tied in the front laying to the front and the side instead of the back.
