Jocelyn contacted me to see if I could do an emergency sample of this pattern to be displayed at the 2013 New York Sheep & Wool Festival (Rhinebeck) and Stitches East.

Notes:

• I was just past the middle of the fifth hank of yarn when I finished up the 7” of the lace pattern.

• Check out the blog post if you need help with the increases. I found it really helpful, especially Cat Bordi’s mother/grandmother explanation.

• I found it easier to use the cable cast-on method when doing the picot bind-off.

It took just slightly under 5 hanks of yarn to complete this pattern.

10/20/13: Was soooo excited to see my sample in the wild and actually be able to say that I knit it!
