Notes

Part crochet project, part ecology lesson, and part river adventure! I felted the scarf with small river stones (in tribute to the size used by spawning salmon), then removed the stones for bubble-like shibori texture and fun river memories. 10% of the pattern proceeds will be donated to river conservation efforts, and the pattern includes several fun river facts as well as a detailed shibori felting guide!

Although shibori is popular in the knitting world, this is to my knowledge the first shibori pattern published for fabric that is entirely crocheted. I have several others in the works, too, because the technique is fun and completely addictive!
