Made two false starts before I started using stitch markers, which helped immensely. Read over the directions and looked at the charts multiple times before it finally sunk in what was going on.

On chart 2, row 1, you start with the “green” markers set one stitch apart. By row 16, the green markers are 19 stitches apart and you set new markers at the “orange” spots, removing the “green” markers. On the next row (row 1), the “orange” markers become the “green” markers and the increase section starts over again. Row 16 also sets up the main section of the buttercup and faggotting pattern.

10/28/12 - cast on and started first repeat
10/29/12 - started fourth repeat
10/31/12 - finished fourth repeat and started fifth repeat
11/1/12 - finished fifth repeat and started sixth repeat
