An improvised parallelogram wrap made from a skein of long-repeat rainbow sock yarn and a skein of grayscale gradient sock yarn.
Pattern:
Increase section
CO 2 in MC
Row 1 (MC, right side): sl1, k to last st, kfb
Row 2 (MC, wrong side): sl1, k to end
Row 3: Repeat row 1 in CC
Row 4: Repeat row 2 in CC
Repeat until you have ~150 sts, ending on a CC wrong side row.
Middle section
Row 5 (MC): sl1, k to last st, kfb
Row 6 (MC): sl1, k to last 2 sts, ssk
Row 7: Repeat row 5 in CC
Row 8: Repeat row 6 in CC
Repeat to the desired length, ending on a CC wrong side row.
Decrease section
Row 9 (MC): sl1, k across
Row 10 (MC): sl1, k to last 2 sts, ssk
Row 11: Repeat row 9 in CC
Row 12: Repeat row 10 in CC
Repeat until you have 2 sts.
Bind off and weave in ends.
