Notes

The yarn was a gift from my friend Kathleen. I was initially going for a vest but then realized that I had enough for a sweater. The yarn is super-soft - an absolute pleasure to knit. Thank you, Kathleen.

I doubled the Shepherd’s Wool with some Knit Picks Palette fingering yarn out of my stash to get a worsted weight.

This is such an easy and well written pattern. I really enjoyed making this sweater.

And it turns out that I had enough yarn left to make a matching hat… It is a Thorpe - my all-time favorite hat pattern.
