At week 38 of pregnancy I’ve suddenly got back the knitting mojo I’d lost about four months ago and wanted a quick little project to knit for the future baby. This shrug fit the bill perfectly.

I used a DK yarn, rather than the aran that was called for and went down two needle sizes, which has hopefully given me a smaller sized cardigan than the 3-6 months of the pattern.

This was a quick, simple knit, though I do always find with Debbie Bliss patterns there is a lot of a picking up and knitting at the end to make edges, which I never especially enjoy (and it always leaves even more ends to be sewn in…)

Nonetheless, pleased with the end result, as modelled fetchingly by this soft bunny rabbit.
