I could not get the link to work.
I have looked at the picture and tried to create a copy.
This is what I did.
Body
Cast on 28 sts
Knit 1 row (prevents curling at bottom)
Beginning with a K row, SS 14 rows
K2tog to end (14)
P2tog to end (7)
B & T, and stitch side seam.
Head
Cast on 7 sts
Inc to end (14)
P to end
K1, (inc, K2)x 4, inc in last st (19)
SS 3 rows
K1, K2tog, K3, K2tog, K3, K2tog, K3, K2tog, K1 (15)
Purl to end
K1, K2tog, K2, K2tog, K1, K2tog, K2, K2tog, K1 (11)
K2tog x2, K3tog, K2tog x 2 (5)
B&T and stitch row ends together.
Stuff head and sew cast on row of the head to the decrease row of the body.
Eyes - crochet
White- Magic ring, 6 SC and join.
Fold in half, stitch and sew onto head.
OR
Eyes - knitted
White- cast on 6 sts
SS 5 rows. B&T
Do a running stitch around the edges, stuff if you like, and pull tightly to gather into an eye shape.
French knots for pupils.
Add smile.
Legs
Cast on 7sts
K a row
K2tog, K3, Slip1, K1, Psso (5)
K a row
K2tog, K1, Slip1, K1, Psso (3)
K a row
Slip1, K2tog, Psso (1)
Crochet leg
Using a crochet hook chain as long as you want the legs to be, slip st into the body.
You can leave it like this as per the picture, but on mine I sl st back down the chain, and fastened off at foot.
OR
Knitted leg
3 stitch icord to desired length
Arms (if wanted)
Cast on 5sts, and follow steps as legs but omitting the first 2 rows.
