I LOVE the original patterns from Sarah Gasson.
I have adapted the pattern to fit an Innocent smoothie bottle but retain the charm of the original.

Caterpillar
Cast on 28sts in light green
1- Purl
2- Knit
3-5 In dark green, beginning with a K row SS 3 rows
6-8 In light green SS 3 rows
9-11 In dark green SS 3 rows
12-14 In light green SS 3 rows
15 In dark green K2tog across - 14sts
16 Purl
17 K1, Kinc across - 21sts
Intarsia face in SS
18-23 8sts dark green, 5sts light green, 8sts dark green
24- 9sts dark green, 3sts light green, 9sts dark green.
25-28 In dark green SS 4 rows
29- K1 (K2tog) 10 times - 11 sts
B&T sew seam, stuff head.
Add a running stitch around the neck and pull to create neck, add stitches inside the netting prevent the stuffing coming out.
Add face.
Arms (4) and antenna as per the pattern.

Ladybird
Cast on 28sts in red
Body done in SS using intarsia
1-14 12sts red, 4sts black, 12sts red
15 K2tog six times in red, K2tog twice in black, K2tog six times in red - 14sts
16 in red P
17 K1, Kinc across - 21sts
Intarsia face
18-23 8sts red, 5sts cream, 8sts red
24- 9sts red, 3sts cream, 9sts red
25-28 In red SS 4 rows
29- K1 (K2tog) 10 times - 11 sts
B&T sew seam, stuff head.
Add a running stitch around the neck and pull to create neck, add stitches inside the netting prevent the stuffing

Add face and black buttons for spots.
Antenna as per the pattern.
