Just the right size for putting a Cadbury’s Creme Egg inside. The cube can be opened up far enough to put the egg in then closed up again. When the egg is removed the knitting regains its cube shape.

My first attempt was meant to look like an egg. I put yellow circles on the faces of the cube but they looked more like flowers. I scrapped that one and went for a different construction that gave me a square in the centre of each face.

The other version is the basic cube in the three colours of the chocolate egg.
