Steve designed four national emblem cushions for the Woolsack project and I knitted them all.

They are

• England: Rose
• Scotland: Thistle
• Wales: Daffodil
• Ireland: Shamrock

The aim of the project is to use British wool to make a cushion for every competitor in the Olympics and Paralympics. More information can be found on the Woolsack web site.

Note: The prototypes were made using acrylic yarn. Cushions for the project must be made with wool from British sheep.
