This is my least favourite version but it is still deliciously squishy and stretchy. Basically, I think I don’t like hats with ‘ears’. You can wear it without a front band so the corners stand up quite a long way. Because it is so stretchy you can pull it down further to get smaller corners and a fold up band.

If you don’t stitch the top edge it reverts to being a cowl or headband.
