I edged these in green so I could tell them apart from all my other squiggles.

The small version is the centre of the large version. It shows what happens if you add ‘too many’ stitches to a circle. It quickly begins to distort. It gets more and more contorted as you add extra rounds.

The large shape looks very different, depending on how you twist it.

I used

• 11 metres of yellow DK and 4 metres of green for the small piece
• 66 metres of yellow and 22 metres of green for the large version
