Tiago is a young mathematician from Lisbon. I first met him at Mathsjam 2011. On that occasion he was doing lots of tricks with paper clips and he made me a spinner from a paper clip using a pair of pliers I just happened to have in my handbag (Don’t ask!). I still have the spinner on my desk.

At Mathsjam 2012 he fell in love with the hat I gave to David Singmaster so I made this one for him.
