This is a good way to use up oddments. It is more striped than I really intended. I should have used longer lengths of yarn, which would have made the ball-making job quicker.

It could be made in plain colours, avoiding all of the ball-making.

I used about 500 grams of DK yarn.

I don’t usually start one project until the previous one is finished but I had to make an exception here. I am going away for a couple of days and the previous project is not transportable.

This one is ideal for travelling. Making the balls of yarn is somewhat time-consuming but it costs nothing!
