Followed the pattern and increased until 36 stitches. Cast on 10 stitches for arms and cast off after two rows. Decreased to 24 stitches. Completed directions for neck. I knit the head several times but kept dropping stitches- then I realized I was knitting in the round so I used a no. 7 16” to finish knitting the head. I purled 2 tog and left a long tail.
I stuffed a nylon stocking with fiberfill, creating a ball and placed it in the head. This way the filling woukd not fall out. I worked the eyes and nose with a worsted weight yarn. Closed up the head saving the tail.
Ears- I made this in one piece. Provisionally cast on 11 sts and followed knit1meow2’s directions for the ears. Then I removed the provisional stitches and knit the other side. Tacked the ears down in the middle using the tail from the top of the head.
