Started this but had to frog. It was way too big with this heavy worsted yarn. Instead, I restarted the pattern, casting on with 1/3 less stitches. I refigured all the stitch rows to correspond and kept the length the same. I used a mattress stitch to finish the side seams. The final width at the armhole was 18”. Absolutely adorable but the final test will be to see if it fits the baby.

With grandma’s help, tried it on the baby. It fits now so I will make it a couple of stitches/ rows bigger for two months from now.
