A Sweater of My Own Design

Received a first place ribbon and a Best in Section rosette in the Handspun and Handknit category of the 2024 Chilliwack Fair.

The yellow line is a waste yarn lining up all the slipped stitch columns in preparation for grafting the sweater back together.

Sweater surgery in progress. Knitting 3.5" more into the length from the bottom up, and then I will graft the bottom back to the top.

The sweater pre-surgery. Let's hope this isn't a big mistake!

Such a comfortable sweater that I never want to take it off!

I managed to get the lines of the slipped stitches to come together at the Central Double Decreases of the body and the sleeves.

The knit stitches of the tubular cast on flow directly into the slipped stitches in the main body.

The colour is way off in this one. In real life the blue is denim like, but much more vibrant.

This photo shows the true colour quite well.
