Notes

Using a lighter color yarn may have done this pattern more justice, but I love the color just the same. The instructions say to Slip the First Stitch w/ YIF for all even rows but I did it w/ YIB for a tighter edge but also because I kept forgetting to do it the right way lol. I folded the scarf in half, pinned it to my ironing board and used an iron to steam block. Measurements are 88 inches in length by about 5 inches width. Why so long you ask? Because I love long scarfs that wrap around several times. The material is extremely light and comfortable and picked specifically as it won’t irritate a recent surgical scar. Warning : This fabric might curl up a lot (depending on the yarn used) after completion and you may prefer to leave it that way but if you want to show off all the hard work you put into it I highly recommend blocking it.

UPDATE:
Made the mistake of throwing this in the wash…. huge mistake :( but lesson learned. Hand wash delicately and reshape/line dry
