Notes

Berroco Remix is a great recycled alternative but does tend to split a bit while knitting. If you follow the pattern you will end up with a small project. You might consider adding more stitches for a larger bag. The straps tend to curl and I haven’t figured out a knit pattern to keep them from rolling.

Pink/Purple Stripped Shoulder Tote: I made this one out of left over stash. Increase until you have 26 stitches on each needle (104 Sts). Knit to desired length, Bind off 13 stitches, Knit 39, Bind off 13 Knit 39. Work your 39 sts decreasing until you have 12 sts ending with a purled row. Work strap till desired length and do the same for the remaining needle. I used an acrylic blend for the upper portion of the bag to get a stiffer handle feel, I’m thinking of felting that section but not sure yet.
