My daughter is turning 8 in two weeks, but she’s tall, so I’m making the 9-10.

3.23.13: Well, I should have alternated skeins, but I threw caution to the wind, was lazy, and didn’t. And now the bottom of the tunic and the sleeves are a visibly darker purple, but dealing with the imperfection is an exercise in letting things go. Right?

Still have to knit the pocket linings and put on the buttons. The pocket linings turned out to need dk (I did not read ahead!) and so I used some Sanguine Gryphon Traveller left over from a Rikke hat.

3.27.13 Very cute, easy, fashionable pattern. Daughter loves it. Fabulously matches her purple boots. I may have taken a lot of photos…
