Sweet little project, which I’m using as a practice run for more ducklings. Quick to knit.

I’ll be making some minor changes on my next duckling because I’m really not a fan of w&t because it leaves tiny holes, so I’m going to substitute German short rows.

I’ll also use a cdd instead of the k3tog on the feet.

I’ll learn how to do neater mattress stitch on cast on/off edges, and pin point exactly where to sew on the feet, as I’m sure one is higher than the other!

I will try uncarded toy filling, rather than the springy stuff, just to see the difference.

Note: I did the eyes with French knots, using dk yarn and wrapping six times.
