If you have an intarsia itch that needs scratching, this is the project for you!

The level of attention required for this project rivals that of counted cross-stitch. (Ugh!) You need to pay attention to every little pixel of a stitch, at least for the countries. The high seas are just an ocean of blues and greens. Take care to use colors for the land masses that contrast to the cool, watery colors of the seas. Observe what happened to poor Canada!

Most of this was knit at swim meets, over the course of three years. Yes, I was “that mom” in the stands. For a while, I had a local following; not global, just local … really local.
