3/8 - Below you’ll find my initial frustrations. I frogged after second repeat, but started over with lifelines, markers, and chart-reading tenacity. Its off the needles and I block tomorrow. Very happy with the yarn, the pattern, and my knitting. There is a spot, that I may or may not fix, not sure how unbearable it may be after blocking.

1/18 - Started by following the handwritten pattern, then I thought I may have missed something and checked my stitch count against the chart pattern. Bad move. I have a couple rows that are off because of that.

Turns out I can read a chart pattern. The next challenge is to do the repeats correctly.

To rip or not to rip. Count still off. Something is amiss and the shawl is now eschew.
