Test knit for the Zen Cardigan for boknits. I had in mind 4 yarns from my stash, ended up swatching with 2, then opted for the Blue Faced DK because this cardi will be amazing in this colour combination!
Started casting on for the back. Loving the change in colours.

Changed plan and frogged the back again. There was some strange pooling happening, so cast on with two skeins alternated. Let’s see what happens. If this is not working, I will try casting on for both fronts and the back on a long circular and see if I can avoid pooling. Either that, or it’s going to be a different yarn…sob!

11 August: finished the back yesterday, and finishing one of the front parts today, hopefully casting on for the second part too. I can see that the yarn is great for this project, once washed and blocked it will also be more drapey :)

12 August: finished second front part, now for the front band and buttonholes…

13 August: finished with the button band and picked up 66 sts for the left sleeve.

14 August: one sleeve finished, one more to go. And the pockets!

23 August: 2nd sleeve halfway done.

8 September: all sewn, pockets inclusive, only the buttons are missing.
