Finnished this shawl a while ago but started to wear it in June. Pure silk looks and feels lovely on light summer nights. I enjoyed a lot combining two strands of cream-white, or one white and one golden, or just golden held together.
The gauge is the same as the original pattern (one strand fingering wool held together with one strand of silk mohair) as pure silk knitted on larger needles drapes nicely.
