I finished and modified the crown:
Picked up 96 st. for the crown. Started decreases in the 4th round after picking up stitches. Decreased as described in the pattern, but on every 4th row until there werde 34 st. on the needles. Then on every 2nd row until there werde 12 stitches on the needles. Then knit 3 st. together on every needle. 4 st. remaining. Did a little i-Cord with reverse stockinette stitch and then pulled the thread through all 4 st. DONE.
The crown is smaller now and looks better IMHO.
The picture is a late at night picture. I will make another at daylight. I am pretty satisfied with the result.

Actually finished yesterday, but I do not like the crown. Much too slouchy and wide. I think I will redo the crown - rebelotte….

brim is knitted and waved.

15.12.2015:
I do a provisional CO.
I do not knit a selvedge stitch in the brim section of the cloche. When I did it ( following the pattern instruction ) the edge looked ugly and much too lose. So I decided to garter stitch all stitches.
The threads of ITO Kinu and DROPS Alpaca are taken together. The stripe sequence is as follows:
6rows Magliamania Merinosilk, Kupfer
4rows Malabrigo Silky Merino, Tatami
2rows Madeline Tosh Merino DK, Thyme
4rows Malabrigo Silky Merino, Tatami
2rows ITO Kinu, Light Blue and DROPS Alpaga 7323 held together
6rows Magliamania Merinosilk, Kupfer
