I took quite long to do the finishing of the arms. This was due to long walks and bike rides with my sister who visited for a few days.
I am very happy with the FO. I think the colour matches perfectly with the pattern. At the end - when you get used to reading a japanese pattern chart it is quite easy to execute. It will not be the last Hitomi Shida on my needles! Definitely!

I have finished the top body last night. It took longer than planned, as I broke my needles. It is the 4th time I broke a Knit Pro Symphony interchangeable! The much I like the needles for their perfect tips and the comfortable knitting features, I am not so much impressed by their stability!
Today I started the finishing. My neckline and arm openings will be different to the patterns. I will do garter stitches and will NOT pick up the stitches but sew the live stitches on.
Have a look here neck line sew on and here GajahDuduk’s boyfriend sweater

I am finishing the neck opening of the back.

Separated for arm opening.

28.06:
I am almost back to the level where I frogged. Yeah!

This yarn splits a lot, I mean a LOT!!!
I would not recommend for lace work, intricate patterns or if you are a freshman knitter.

24.06: oooooh no!!!!
Looking closer on the picture I took from my WIP I realized I did not follow the pattern correctly. Instead of of alternating the mesh with the waves, I have meshes and waves sitting side by side! I need to rib it back to the last row of the starting weaves, so waaaay back under the waistline! Sniff! That is the draw-back of knitting in a pattern rythm without ‘eyeball check’

01.06.2015
This pattern is sitting waaayyy too long in my library. So with the summery temperature why not give it a try?
It is my very first Hitomi Shida pattern. I am feeling enthusiasm and I love the color of the yarn. This spring hue is definitely for me!
