Righto, finished the yoke and collar! The next step is to block the body. After that, gotta knit the button band. Again, the instructions are a little vague…

It’s April already?! Well, I finished the other sleeve a couple of days ago. The instructions are incredibly vague and don’t really make much sense when you go to bind it off. Hopefully I did it right. Fortunately the body is relatively straightforward so far. Just a lot of stitches.

Aaargh! I read the instructions wrong. :( It said increase at either end of each 5th row, but I only increased at the end of each row. So 109 rows later…time to frog it!

The cuff was looking pretty rough though and I figured out how to prevent laddering, so this will probably make the whole piece a lot better.

This is going to be my first big knitting project - hope I’m not diving in too deep!

I’ve bought some yarn - just acrylic, as angora is pretty expensive. The acrylic feels very lovely though, and feels like it will be a big pleasure to work with.

I’ve read through the pattern and it seems all right.
