May 2012 Love the pattern for this baby blanket. Cast on 135 stitches and knitted a 10 row garter stitch border. I also knitted 6 stitches at beginning and ending of each row in garter stitch. Even though the pattern isn’t really an easy one to memorize, it does knit up pretty fast.

I’m perfectly aware this blanket might not be used as much once the baby has been born, since it needs to be washed by hand and blocked. However it does look soooo pretty!
