→ En décembre 2017, mon chéri m’a construit un joli petit meuble pour y poser mes affaires de toilette. On l’a nommé le “porte-cotons” puisque, au départ, le projet ne devait contenir que mes petits disques démaquillants au crochet. Pour pouvoir y placer ma brosse à dents, nous avons fait un petit trou sur l’un des côtés et j’ai crocheté un filet avec, à son extrémité, deux cordelettes en chaînette à nouer ensemble de l’autre côté du trou.

→ J’ai fait ce projet rapidement pour ce besoin donc je n’ai pas noté les explications exactes, mais j’ai procédé comme suit :
- Avec le crochet 1,75mm, j’ai fait un cercle magique de 6ms puis j’ai augmenté jusqu’à avoir le nombre de maille voulu. Par un jeu de mailles en l’air et de mailles serrées, j’ai monté le filet en hauteur, sans augmentation. J’ai fini par deux rangs de mailles serrées pour la bordure.
- J’ai ensuite fait les petites cordelettes. Avec le crochet 1,25mm, j’ai attaché un nouveau fil sur la bordure et j’ai monté quelques mailles en l’air très serrées. J’ai attaché un nouveau fil 3-4 mailles plus loin et j’ai renouvelé l’opération.

→ Le filet mesure environ 2cm de diamètre sur 10,5cm de haut.

→ In December 2017, my darling built me a nice little piece of furniture to put my toiletries in. It was named the “cotton holder” since, at first, it was only supposed to contain my little crochet cotton pads. To place my toothbrush in it, we made a small hole on one side and I crocheted a filet bag with two chain cords at the end to tie together on the other side of the hole.

→ I did this project quickly for this need so I didn’t write down the exact instructions, but I proceeded as follows :
- With the 1,75mm crochet hook, I made a 6sc magic circle and then increased until I had the desired number of stitches. Using a combination of chains and single crochets, I crochet the filet in height, without increasing. I finished with two rows of single crochets for the border.
- I then made the little cords. With the 1,25mm crochet hook, I attached a new yarn to the edge and made a chain very tightly. I attached a new yarn 3-4 stitches further and repeated the process.

→ The filet bag is about 2cm (0.8”) in diameter and 10,5cm (4.1”) high.
