I love how slinky and light/airy-but-still-weighty this wrap is, plus I get to use all of the hand-dyed sock minis I love but have been holding onto waiting for the absolutely “right” project that never seems to materialize. As an added bonus, the elongated stitches mean that it works up quickly (well, relatively quickly for a 92-inch long sock weight wrap, plus I made a scrappy version at the same time with the leftovers).

This is take two. The first time I CO 132 (for a pashmina) and realized that the repeats went beyond 20g. Since I’m trying to use up my stash, it doesn’t make sense to have to buy more yarn so I started over.

I didn’t have my blocking wires on hand, so I made do with yarn woven along the edges. The width is not even but it’s not particularly noticeable IRL; if it bothers me, I’ll re-block it.

In hindsight, I should have planned out my colors rather than just randomly selecting whatever tickled my fancy.
