This was 90% done for quite a few months because I couldn’t figure out the ears - turns out that I should have read the finishing instructions and it would have made much more sense. I just need to add the buttons to the dress and the cardigan (I know the matching ones are somewhere in my button jar) and it will be all done.

There were a lot of moving parts, but I love everything - the french knickers, the smocked dress and the carrot-themed cardigan. (I also love that I don’t need to embroider a mouth.)

Mods:

• I didn’t like the prospect of floppy ears, so I inserted Soft & Stable interfacing. I only used a single layer- I think I could have added at least another layer to make it even stronger. This is moldable and the ears will stay up for quite a while.

• I also added little bags of Polypellets to the body, hands and feet to give it a bit of weight.
