Knit rectangle for rind first, picked up along perimeter and continued straight for 4 rounds. Switched two white for three rounds. Switched to pink. Placed markers for “corners,” then decreased using hat decreases on “faces” of the watermelon in order to get the curve (k2tog every 5 stitches, knit two rounds, k2tog every 4 stitches, knit two rounds, etc). Switched to decreasing at every corner every third round to get the triangular tip of the wedge. Grafted stitches together for tip of wedge.
