I’m thinking of adding beads to the border when I get there.

8/1 stopped on row 23

My foundation double crochet stitches at the end of each row are looking good. This pattern had a great description of the stitch. I’ve avoided it forever because my first few attempts looked super sloppy, but I couldn’t find a way around it here. :)

8/3 dang, ran out of yarn on row 31. I thought I’d at least have enough for the body if not the border. With only 1.5 rows left I’m not sure I want to spend the $20 for another skein or do something else.

Shortest decision ever. I looked at the clock, realized the yarn store closes in 15 minutes for the weekend, and left the house immediately :)

Since I had so much extra yarn, I’ve added two additional rows to the body pattern. It’s super long! I blocked half and need to do the other half.

Wow, without tying it or anything it hangs from my shoulders to only a few inches off the ground. Maybe I shouldn’t have added the extra rows! It looks great wrapped around though.
