Knitted to 139 sts and did two lace repeats and the border. I ignored the instructions for doing the specific yarnovers and just did them as I always do i.e. bringing the needle to the back and wrapping the yarn over the top. I think it looks fine, and the edges were nice and stretchy. I also skipped the garter stitch tab (it was so tiny anyway) and just cast on 5 stitches, knit 3 rows, then started on the instructions for row 1.
